With the approach of thirty years of the 4th World Women Conference in 1995 and the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, and the five years to go on the 2030 Development Agenda, the United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres made a clarion call to initiatives that could provide results oriented and successes to the Development Agenda.

Our organization and networks of Civil Societies with United Nations ECOSOC Status advanced its objectives towards gender parity and came up with the vision on the need to prioritize the gender issues.

Gender Priority Strategy GEPS became initiative to create global movement that could educate, train, advocate, and enact action on policy, education, advocacy and research, PEAR on human priorities from grassroots. It will drive, support and promote the agenda of UN Women, the agreed conclusion on Commission on Status of Women, and other multifaceted issues affecting and hindering the overall integrity of all women for the purpose of advocacy, education, training, empowerment, and entrepreneur designed from policies and resolutions on women from local to global level.

Focus Africa was birthed to Re-engineer the global impression of Africa and beam to the world the success stories of our hidden heroes thus bringing to the fore the rich mineral deposit, economic opportunities, and cultural heritage in the continent. The Focus Africa Series has active presence in over 27 countries in Africa and our projects include Conferences, Trade Exhibitions, Advocacy and community impact projects. Focus Africa Series was appointed the Coordinator for Gender Priority Strategy for African Region at the Commission on Status of Women 68th Session.

Africana Women Working Group at the UN is a coalition of NGOs in Special Consultative Status with Economic and Social Council at the United Nations in commitment to the 2030 Development Agenda and gender issues.
